A few clarifications for the Winter STEAM League Challenge:
- There are 44 possible points for the two challenges combined
- Materials that can be used for cardboard sled: mostly cardboard, other recycled/household materials, no materials intended to be used as a sled (ex: no crazy carpets). Follow Safety Guidelines for Physical Education in NB.
- There is a required video link in the form to show that you tested your sled. No video required to show 3m distance.
- The form has a place to enter Snowman height and circumference. Tallest and biggest will be determined later by the STEAM leads.
As promised, our Winter STEAM League challenge is out! This challenge is sponsored by Port of Belledune and ASD-N. Take a look at the flyer for the challenge guidelines and points system and get ready to enjoy all this beautiful snow. K-5 and 6-12 have the same challenges but will submit using separate Microsoft forms (see below). Please follow the Safety Guidelines for Physical Education in New Brunswick for "Tobogganing/Sledding" guidelines.
