Grade K-3 Key Skills Assessment Resources

What are Key Skills?

Key Skills are the essential "Number (N) Outcomes" identified at Grades K-3 that are the foundation of building a strong base in mathematics.

In Grades K-2 students are assessed on end of the year outcomes three times (September, January, and June). In Grade 3 students are assessed twice each year (January and June). The intent of these assessments is for educators to use these results in a formative manner to inform their teaching practices and target lessons toward the needs of students.
