"Connecting to the Land"
Please note, funds per project will range from $500-$1500 (Final grant amount awarded may be impacted based on the total number of applications received)
You can apply for multiple grants but only one may be approved. Materials purchased must be specific to the original climate action grant and consider 'Buy NB First' and 'GNB Green Procurement Policy'. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Approved projects will be notified by the district subject coordinator. Funding will be given to New Brunswick Curriculum aligned projects that focus on reducing the carbon footprint and must link to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) #13 Climate Action.
There are 2 possible streams of funding.
1. Educator Capacity Building - educator focused.
2. Learner Climate Action Project - justice-focused, action-orientated climate action lead by learners.
Help New Brunswick reduce our net carbon footprint.
