This activity can be adopted for a couple of different outcomes

1. Number recognition - The teacher can call out a number and have the students toss a ball at the number ("target") that was called.

2. Know the number before/after - The teacher can call out "Hit the number before 5." or "Hit the number after 8." Students throw at the appropriate target.
