K-1 Students at Parkwood Heights Elementary were recently given a Geometry STEM Challenge by teacher Pattie Furlotte and Numeracy Lead Gail Girouard. This challenge asked students to create the largest 3D shape possible and it had to have 8 vertices. Many young engineers and critical thinkers emerged from the group and fun was had by all.
